On our beginner bass course we will start playing along to backing tracks from the outset so you really understand the importance of this instrument in a band. As we work through simple bass lines from your favourite songs we will pull out all the necessary theory and techniques you need to know to play the bass.
You may have already been learning the bass and are looking to develop your skills. We will take you through a style study of different genres from funk to motown all the way through to modern pop playing.
Every term we will pull all of our students together for a concert to showcase what our students have been learning, this will give you a good chance to put into practice everything you have learnt in a live band situation.
We are registered exam centre with Trinity College London and we follow their syllabus and they have provided us with a large library of material to use when teaching. Exams are available for students who want to achieve grades.
